Who will be the first denialist to claim that snow in Cairo somehow means there is no global warming?
Reviewing my tree-ring data reveals that, as temperatures climb, record cold and snow will become common. Record cold and ice sheet growth in Antarctica was something that we knew would happen all along. And that recovery of sea ice up north?--Knew it was coming.
I think Dook would agree that all this cold fits the pattern of an out-of-control warming trend. He is the only one here who has the science background to understand this.

Am I considered a denier? Are true scientists considered deniers? They are? Good! Then I will weigh in.
When it snows in Cairo, it could be taken as a lot of things. And Global Warming ain't one of them.

Mother nature and the sun will! No really the sun can control weather and influence oceans which in turn belches up CO2 and alters a funny phenomena called The Jet Stream? No way! I mean it's not like the tiniest change in our orbit could mean the different between living in a permafrost or tropical paradise. Only humans could screw up the Earth's Orbit from driving their SUV's too much.
Enjoy feeding the government machine! We now return to our daily program.

As warming increases, record snowfall will tend to increase in areas/at times that are still cold enough to snow, because warmer air holds more moisture than cooler air. You'll tend to get the most snow when it's just barely cold enough to snow rather than rain. It may seem counterintuitive, but that doesn't make it false.
There will be periodic local episodes of record cold in a warming world, just like there would be periodic episodes of record high temperatures in a cooling world, because we've only been taking accurate temperature records for a century or so in most places, and weather has bigger variation than climate.
The sea ice recovered from an unusually severe melt the previous year, but it's still well below the 10-year average, I believe. The analogy I've used to explain this:
The mayors of Analogyville have been crooked the past several years. One stole $100 from the city, the next stole $200, the next stole $300, the next stole $1000, and the most recent one stole $500. Would you say that the mayors are getting better, because the most recent mayor stole less than his predecessor, or would you just say that the second-to-last mayor was unusually bad?
And all that cold perfectly fits the pattern of... a chaotic, "noisy" climate system, where the warming signal (while still solidly present) is less severe than normal year-to-year, place-to-place variations.

Global Warming ended over a year ago. The ALIEN Organism was turned off. This is winter time you know. The environment is in good shape every where. All seasons returned to normal before Global Warming in 1977. Have a nice day. Mike

You tells those deniers Mikey.
@Some1...It also has be a wetter environment than normal as well. What we are witnessing across our planet is more extremes in weather patterns (floods, droughts, heat waves and cold snaps, as examples) than had been the previous norm."
BULLLLLSHIIIIAAAAT.. I know the modus operandi of all alarmists is to repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat and repeat the lie until people believe it's true. Give me one study that confirms we are witnessing more extreme weather patterns than the "norm".

What recovery of northern sea ice? It's still way below average.

Oh,I guess it's a "recovery" if we are not at an all-time record low.
I wonder if any intelligent deniers are privately embarrassed by the stupidity of their comrades? Not only are there multiple questions that equate snow in the Middle East with disproof of AGW, there's another that's acting like there are no facts that support quantum physics. If I were an "intelligent" denier, I would find such questions objectionable, because it makes deniers in general appear stupid (rather than just dishonest).

It takes more than just cold weather to produce snowfall. It also takes precipitable water. In other words, moisture in the air. Cairo exists in a desert so for it to snow there it has to be more than just colder than normal to do so. It also has be a wetter environment than normal as well. What we are witnessing across our planet is more extremes in weather patterns (floods, droughts, heat waves and cold snaps, as examples) than had been the previous norm. This would indicate that something within the climate system itself has changed, would it not? But, do not become too focused on any single weather event in any location. What are the weather patterns across the planet? Are they changing beyond the historical norms for the region?

From Dookies recent Questions I would say he has interlect but has taken to using something that is not doing him any good. We should not take YA to seriously, nobody of influence reads it,just us old farts.

I hate to burst your bubble but what it means is global warming was completely out of control 112 years ago

Disciplined scientific thinkers make no such claim yet you cannot help yourself but claim the the converse.
