What kind of boat do YOU want from Santa?

Update:

I've already asked for a Nortech 5200 Roadster with a prepaid fuel card.

One that somehow can pay for itself instead of bleeding me dry month after month. Does such a vessel exist?

I have the boat I always wanted. A 18' 1983 fiberglass Century Resorter w 360cu inch straight inboard w new interior this year.If Santa wants to bring me another boat, I'll take a 16" Donzi w big block engine. I'll also ask for high test fuel for both! Both these boats would serve me well here in the Fingerlakes of Western New York.

I'll take a 45'-50'Hatteras sport fisher if you don't mind.A couple of fat Cats in the engine room and a full tank of fuel would ice the cake. The sound of something trying to steal the line from my 50/wide is almost better than sex(I said almost).

First choice would be two Perkins diesel engines and gear boxes for the boat that I am restoring. If Santa can not get me them could I please have a Grand banks 42. Thank you Santa.

PS if you can not get a 42 on your sledge can you fit a 36 on, but I do really like the 42.

I would love a St. Martin mini with a 50-hp ob - something I could put in the water using my 1850 lb davit over the bulkhead.....or a PWC - either would be fun.

A small schooner , something like a Chesapeake bay Pilot boat from the 1850s to look at ,

    about 30 foot long , plus a toothpick out front to set a big Yankee balloon jib flying on , tall pole masts in Tabernacles , with white painted tops and painted bands , carrying tall Tan gaff sails with deep slab reefing , Gaff mains'l boom end way out past her stern ;

And a light polyester masthead streamer 20 feet long saying " Catch me who can " to Flaunt it past the Yacht Club with a bone in her teeth and a seething hole behind her .

Bit of gilt scrollwork around the bow and wineglass stern , and a gold cove line following her sheer to make her pretty .

Dark Green Hull , cream topsides , all GRP with some McTeak trim .

Lays a point closer to the wind than a man has a right to expect from his own wife ,

Drives up to windward like a prancing racehorse , yet'll lay hove-to quiet as a snoozing swan in a blow under trysails and a storm stays'l .

Finger and thumb to steer her with a tiller , and plenty of weight ( freshwater ballast ) to make her kindly , and positive in going about .

Big GRP dinghy upside down on a low coachroof between the masts ,

    Portholes , not windows .

Big Chug-along diesel to drive her when you need it . Standing rigging all a little oversize , and a pair of thumping anchors and a trawlers winch forward to handle them in any weathers .

    Down below , a simple galley ,

a " Wet-room " head you dont have to crouch to shower in , nor have an isoceles triangle-shaped backside to sit on the throne , nor arms with two extra joints to pump it .

Varnished wood in the saloon , creamy stone colour paint , and blue blankets on the bunks , brass " vintage look " lighting and a proper yacht's coal stove for snugging up to on winter nights afloat on your mooring .

As few electrics and IT stuff as you can get away with , except for a good Nav-Aids and Comms fitout .

Plus £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ to run her and keep her , of course .

    I think I'd call her something like " L'Amareuse "

( Never going to happen , but you might as well ask . Happy Christmas to everyone ! ! ! )

That one that's in the current TV advert. Is it for Hugo Boss? The one that comes with the hot babe in the black bikini lounging on the deck.

It obviously fails as an advert. I remember the hot babe but I'm unsure of the product.

I stopped believing in Santa many years ago...

Now if you would ask me what I want from the Easter Bunny, that's another thing entirely...
