Is all the upheaval and ill feelings worth it?

I see today that only slightly more then 106,000 Americans have been able to sign up for the ACA coverage. Many times more then that have been told they are losing their current coverage and many more are angered by the entire issue.

I can't help but wonder if it's all been worth it and how the President can view it all as a success? Its such a dismal failure so is there any turning back or will the nation just have to bash on and try to come out the other end of the process with as little damage as possible.

Oh, Randy, you have been given some very bad information. Let me see if I can help:

    1. All big new programs cause upheaval, and years later they are loved (like Medicare).

    2. A lot of the ill feelings are being purposely caused by the right-wing propaganda machine.

    3. Why aren't Republicans concerned about the 5 million people who can't get any insurance because they live in states with Republican governors who refuse to expand Medicaid?

    4. A very small percentage are losing their policies but will have new and better coverage.

    5. It is not a dismal failure.

    6. All new sign-ups are slow. Here's a chart that shows you what I mean.

If any one already has health care coverage, why would they sign up for ACA?Only requirement is to have health coverage and report it to big brother with a stick (IRS).

Better option is no one signs up,idiots can't arrest every one and civil disobedience works well when every one participates. So no not worth it and needs to go away.

    A lib.

there are not enough young people who are healthy that are going to sign up. so if you don't have young people to sign up to pay for the old people and the sick people and the people who don't want to work it's not going to work its simple economics, you have to have somebody pay to give somebody something for free! if you don't have someone who has money you're not going to get anybody to pay the bill it's kind of like have you ever been hired by a poor person to do a job? think about that?
