You should rather ask the Geology section of Yahoo! Answers because ... temperature in depth is hardly a meteorology question! ;-) Furthermore, it certainly vary from location to location and the nature of the earth's crust. For example, I guess it increases more in Iceland where they have geothermic powerplants, than elsewhere.
FYI, from the surface to the top of the troposphere, according to the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA), the temperature decreses by 0.65 C per 100 meters.
