Do you prefer cats over people as I do?
I have two cats. They never make unreasonable demands of me. They are not always either in my face or sulking in their bedrooms, but quietly come around when they want to be rubbed, or sometimes just to share the room. They don't ask me stupid questions, and they don't lie. They are two of the best friends I've ever had. I've genuinely come to prefer them over almost every other person in my life. I just wanted to know if anyone else out there felt the same way.

I agree with all of you... its like your speaking a secret language with cats... you get what they mean and they get what you mean. They don't betray you like what humans do... and they actually show that they care and love you.
A cool thing about cats: If you stare at a cat and they blink at you, that means they love you. If the cat stares at you and you stare back and blink, the cat would understand that as you love them.

Yes. I agree. I had a cat for 15 years and he was my best friend. I love my cats and would never give them up. They are the only ones u can trust with anything.

Of course yes! I don't know how anyone can stand people! I often refer to my 16 year old cat (Punkin), as my soul mate, and she truly is.
