Trouble in uninstalling a program?
Hello,
I need your help please.
I was looking for a free parental control software to block the porn and inappropriate sites from kids.
I was satisfied when I found a webpage with a download for the software called Salfeld Child Control 2013, with a Keygen.
Thus, I downloaded and installed the program on my PC.
The problem was when I run the program in order to activate it. I was shocked that the program asks me for a Password to access the settings.
I thought may be the number generated by the Keygen will work but it did not.
Nothing in the program works without the Password, which I do not no at all. There was no Password mentioned in the website from which I downloaded the software.
So, I decided to get rid of it, and that is when I discovered that even the Uninstall requires that same Password. Even when I tried to Uninstall from the Control Panel, the same thing happened.
I tried to Delete the entire program folder from the Program Files on Disk (C:), the program was not removed completely, and a part of it was left in my Task Bar.
I also tried to reinstall the program, and then removing it using some of the Forced Uninstall Softwares (Perfect Uninstaller, Wise Program Uninstaller, IObit Uninstaller), and non of them worked.
No matter what I tried, the uninstallation was never complete, and the same part is left on my Task Bar and with the Start Up.
When I tried to Restore my System to a previous date to undo the installation in the first place, the System Restore failed, because of the program leftovers.
It is really annoying, and I do not know what else to do.
Please help.

That will teach you .............. porn should never be blocked it goes against all things internet!
If it came with a keygen i'm guessing you got an illegal version.....so contacting the company is not advised.

http://salfeld.com/faq/password-forgotten.html
So if it wasn't the trial then what ever number you got from the keygen is the password. If you didn't write it down try changing the password
So try the default password for a trial version first. then if that dont work........ theres other things to try
Always research what your adding to your computer before you do it. You should try the trial version direct from the site before you download someone's illegal version... oops did i say before.... i mean no never download illegal ;) ;)

lastly, what ever site you illegally downloaded from may have included uninstall information in the file they sent you. So check it the file for any readme files.
And the fact it's so hard to uninstall is a good thing
All the software you mentioned leads me to believe you know how to "research" stuff(that is unneeded).......Less is more.
