How long can you store liquor?

My husban left me 6 years ago with several types of liquor I don't drink such as Grappa, Brandy, Sake and Kir. All except the Sake have been opened. Halloween party time is coming, so I wanted to give it to some partiers in my apt. complex. So does anyone know if this stuff is still drinkable?

The Sake is ruined by now, it has a fairly short shelf life. The brandy is probably alright. I haven't had any experience with grappa or kir, but if they're a liquor (35%+ alcohol) they're probably alright. Anything under that, I'm not sure.

The first poster is correct - anything with that much alcohol in it is stable and won't spoil, assuming the bottles are sealed and stored properly. The sake is probably dead, but better quality sake can hold on for a little while. It may be worth doing some research.

Are you sure a cat is not a piece of toast? I'm getting conflicting answers.
