A reproductive biology question......?
Is it possible for humans to mate with any close relative ape species much as horses can be mated with donkeys to produce (sterile) mules?? If so is there record of any mad scientists actually doing it?

Nope. Humans have a different number of chromosomes from other great apes.

No. Their reproduction system is totally different from ours, including the gestation period etc. Plus their sperm and eggs are not equal to any humans. Why on earth would anyone want to do that anyway? There's cloning but only in the same species and male or females, equally cannot be cloned into one.
