Dancing with belly button piercing?

So I just got my belly button pierced yesterday for my birthday. I'm a competitive dancer and I'm worried about it getting caught on my tights, I was told to just wear a big square band aide over it. But somewhere else I seen that it could cause an infection!?! Also what do I do for competitions? Is there some kind of thing you can buy for that? PLEASE HELP!!!!

A bandaid itself will NOT cause an infection. Improper care and hygiene can trigger infections. And you would only have the bandaid on for as long as you have class, then you can remove it. I think it would be a good idea, cause if it get caught up on something it will hurt and it could possibly make the hole bigger or get torn out.

The thing you can buy for it is a Band-aid.
