Children of Earth Torchwood?

The 5 day miniseries done in the summer of 2009 was brutal and gut wrenching. Is this common in British TV?

    Yea Torchwood is one of the darkest shows ever. Luther is another good example of a dark depressing British show

    no it's not ! an it wasn't a mini series either it carried on from series 2
