Research Positions in CV?
Hello
I am writing my CV, and I have an important question in the research field please.
When you temporary work for professors in their own research projects for money, carrying out the entire practical experiments on your own, based on mutual agreement, and with no contract or stable position, what do you call this position ??
If I would like to describe this job in few words as a specific position in my CV, what should I say exactly ??
Does this job goes under researcher, assistant researcher, cooperative researcher, co-researcher, or what exactly ??
Please help me out as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.

Reseach assistant is frequently used. "Assistant" is used in the same context as it is in "assistant professor" where the assistant professor works independently and does not actually "assist" the professor in teaching a class. I would not use "co-researcher" without the professor's permission. Use of the other terms would seem optional.
