If i plug in some beat studios to my galaxy s3 will it be the same as having beats audio on an htc one x?

Highly unlikely.

Each model of headphones has a unique acoustical signature. Moreover, cellphones use a variety of DACs (Digital to Analog Converters) for audio, so there would be likely be some variance between audio output from cellphones (even with the same headphones). This would be more likely between two handsets from different manufacturers.

Would these differences be enough to be noticeable? For some (with sensitive ears), yes. For others, no.

In the end, you'll have to try it out yourself and decide whether or not the differences are meaningful.
