how do i stop smothering my girlfriend?

i don't want to smother my girlfriend i think shes means to her smothering of me at times going a little overboard with the text messages before she gets a chance to reply. is that considered smothering ?:( please please anyone with advice help i truly love my girlfriend with all my heart and i just want to be a good boyfriend and to have a really good close faithful relationship with her thank you so much

Dont be overly attached boyfriend. dont try to text her every second of the day either. Maybe just once a day. Also dont only compliment her and tell her how beautiful she is ALL THE TIME. It makes it less special. Also dont be cliche with her. Keep in mind a realtionship is two people and it should not be just about her. Let her get to know you too instead of just talking about her all the time. You probably dont do all of this, but this is what i think is overboard. I hope i could help :)

When you text her, send her one text until she replies. If she doesnt answer, don't text her till she does. I'm sure she thinks you're sweet for it, though, girls like to be smothered
