Classic or vintage looking satchel?

I'm FINALLY getting a satchel (yay!) and I want other people's input - something like Indiana Jones

As far as my personal style goes, sometimes I'm totally preppy, sometimes I do all black, sometimes girly or boho or grungy. So some days one will fit, some days the other ill be better.

I intend to use this as a school bag.

Just by looking at the pictures, I prefer the first link. It looked like it was sensible and more sturdy looking to carry heavier books and school things. The second link has a lot of selections though and I don't know which one you were thinking of.
