Will the Yankees make the playoffs?

They are 10 out in the division and 7 out in the Wild Card. I've seen stranger things happen but it doesn't look too good right now.

honestly I'd give them a 5% chance of making the playoffs. Because the division has so much talent they not only will have trouble getting near 1st place they also have to play those teams more often so it'd be real tough to get to .500 or the playoffs but chicken and beer might make a reappearance, hopefully not, but don't lose faith

well the team has mass ground to cover they only have two viable starters right now in nova and kuroda unless CC pitches well. not only can't they score the runs needed to win games they don't seem to capsize on their division rivals when they lose a game. They have a slim slim chance if the team starts to get hot and win many consecutive games i will give them a chance. but they still need to fight off the hit wildcard contending teams

the bottom line for the Yankees is they need to win those very low run games even if they get a one game wildcard they would have a slim chance on making it at most they will be over .500 and i will have to wait until next season.

the good news for the Yankees is Arod can play during his appeal and we should have Jeter back soon.

Nobody knows, but in my opinion, they will be above .500, and if they don't make the playoffs, they will come close.

Unless they can get all their starters back and healthy, no. I don't see it happening. With all that has transpired this season, finishing at .500 would be a very good achievement.
