Interested to know what people thought of the summation of the prosecution....?

today in the Zimmerman/Marti trial.

My opinion, it was a travesty, a great joke on our judicial system. Once again , in my opinion, if race could have been left out of it, and the president and Holder could have shut the hell up... maybe just maybe it could have been seen for what it probably was.... a horrible accident and mistake. One fellow over zealous and anxious because of recent robberies in the area, the other young guy maybe a bit afraid, not knowing how this stranger would treat him... a gun.. and the rest is history, I do not think either guilty or innocent.. it is a sign of our times no one trusts anyone anymore.

I grieve for both families, one who has lost a son.. and one who will.. for surely if Zimmerman is sent to jail he will be killed.. and even if he doesn't, there are black crazies that have already claimed would deal with him. I do not blame or think this is all black people... just like it is not all white people.. it is very sad for America! I would appreciate your comments!

The prosecution looked like a jerk to me. Fact #1, Zimmerman was doing a job that was assigned to him by a team of residents of the "gated community". That job included finding out what every "visitor" is doing there. Fact #2, It was Travons' responsibility to tell the night guard where he was going and who he intended to visit, not try to avoid a confrontation with the guard. In most cases, the guard would offer to drive the visitor to his location, being that it was raining and to verify the visitors explanation of where he intended to go. Fact #3, It is also the guards responsibility to record the visitors name and address, time of the visit and time they departed.

To accomplish those tasks, the guard needed to catch up to the visitor. When the visitor refused to co-operate, the guard must do his utmost to stop the (now known as intruder) through any means possible. To call 911 , then sit and wait for the police while the intruder gets away would be derelict od duty on the part of the guard.

By the way, what is the definition of "guard"? Duh.

The judge allowing the jury to consider "manslaughter" at the last moment was almost a joke. A jury DOES have that option, but needs to be instructed by the court - IN THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIAL!

I agree with you, it was a lot of huffing and puffing all to make up for the fact that the prosecution has no facts.. no proof!
