Are George Zimmerman's defenders gullible?

I believe there is a certain amount of gullibility on both sides, fueled mostly by the media. I feel compelled to make the argument, however, that the vitriol seems to come primarily from those who support Zimmerman (I say primarily, because it exists on both sides). There is some validity to the argument that liberals are worked up because Martin was black, but lets be honest, that's the main reason conservatives are worked up as well. I, personally, never want to be on the side arguing in support of death. This case, simply put, is tragic. I feel sympathy for Zimmerman, who I believe had no intention to kill Martin. I feel more sympathy for Martin. First, because he was shot by a man who should not have been following him. Second, he was branded as a thug and criminal before any facts came out. It reveals the vicious racism that still exists in this country. To be fair, it also shows the hypersensitivity to racism that exists on the liberal side.

I think it is better to be hypersensitive than insensitive. While Trayvon Martin may have been a troubled teenager, Zimmerman supporters have to overlook some pretty damning facts in order to argue that shooting Martin was justified.

This whole case is a sham in the first place. Its a media frenzy that's designed to stoke the fires of race relations in this country. For some reason though no one gives a flying crap when a black guy shoots a white person.

BTW Zimmerman isn't even white.

Zimmerman was out to kill a black guy. He had no reason to carry a gun but to use it to kill a black person. He was "looking about" trying to find someone to blame for breaking into homes.

The courts will decide ... nobody else ... not his defenders nor his detractors ... !

no they are hard working americans that are tired of having to live in fear of violence and are happy to see someone stand up to the thugs

Prove that he's guilty.
