Quadratic Equation Word Problems HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11?
Here is the question:
a rock is tossed into the air from a bridge over a river, its height h above the water, in meters, afer t seconds is h=-4.9(t-2)^2+29
a) from what height above the water is teh rocked tossed?
b) find the maxium height of hte rock and the time when this height is reached
c) is the ball still in the air after 4.5 seconds>

The path is given as a parabola.
H= -4.9(t-2)^2+ 29
A) plug in t= 0, to find its original height.
B) The maximum height is found at the vertex. The equation is already in vertex form.
V(2,29) , so maximum height is 29m when t= 2 sec.
C) plug in 4.5 for t. If the height is zero , or negative, then it is no longer in the air.
