Anyone know what this gizmo is?

    I have a tea strainer which is real similar to that. It opens up and you put loose tea leaves in it ....then steep the leaves in hot water.

    The one I have is two tiny sifters which fit together and I use it to sprinkle powdered garlic on things.

    Could be a tea strainer, but I can't make out enough detail to be sure.

    Could be for putting herbs in to add to a dish so you don't have to go digging around for a bouquet garni.
