Biology question, please help!?

This is in regards to the origin of species due to evolution(speciation) and the theory of evolution. I'm doing this for a research project, so try to provide a source. Here's my question:If speciation is the result of evolution, can we say that Charles Darwin developed the idea of speciation?

Thank you everyone!

I would say yes, Darwin's book is titled on the origin of the species where he describes the process of speciation..

Source(s): On the origin of the species.
