What's the best type of paint to use when painting pictures on the walls?

I'm painting quotes in black and white all over my walls, what is the best type of paint to use over my regular wall paint?

Update:

I don't want it to be able to wash off too easily with water, and I want to be able to paint over it with regular wall paint if I ever decide to.

    Use liquid acrylics that come in small jars found at any craft store. Water proof when dry and can be painted over.

    Get a quart of black and a quart of white interior latex paint. If you are painting murals, I would suggest artists acrylic paint.
