Believe what you want to believe. We're all in our own boat rowing to a distant shore.

The question itself is one that is actually irrelevant. There are those who believe that you may burn in an eternal fire, or you won't be chosen for eternal life, blah blah blah. If so far you haven't discovered something bigger in your life that can be either attributed to or helped by God, then you are simply not going to believe. And since there is no more evidence to support the usual Christian rhetoric for believing in God, then the question is rendered irrelevant.

However, I can tell you what I have experienced since I believed in God.I have seen personal healings that were scientifically very improbable--3 times already. I have been inspired to make better choices. I have learned to listen to an intuition that has led me to great opportunities in life. I have become more compassionate, more understanding, patient, and overall loving. To me, it's not about God, but God through me.

I won't try to shower you with flowery speech. I can tell you what I believe and why I believe it.

A true leader doesn't tell you what to do, but he shows you.

I believe that. God doesn't tell you, order you, to believe in Him.

I believe in God because deep down, I knew I was a vile sinner. I had that conviction, as a human being. I knew when I was doing things wrong.

I heard that someone loved me enough to take the punishment for what I had done. That's like you stealing money from a bank and someone comes and bails you out, then takes your sentence.

Only he didn't sit behind bars. He didn't get nearly as well-treated as rapists and serial killers today.

He, the God who made you and me, and everyone reading this, died for us. He had nails beaten through his hands, breaking the bones to keep him hung on the cross. He was spat on. They watched him bleed and he said nothing.

He just took it. Can you think of someone who would willingly just jump on a cross for you? Maybe you have people that love you. Everyone does, of course. But THAT much? And to just take it and never say ANYTHING?

It was overwhelming to me. What are your thoughts?

There once was a time when all people believed in God and the church ruled. This time was called the Dark Ages.

What makes Christianity different is Jesus who came to earth and died to save those who believe in Him and live for him.

The difference is that there is a huge amount of historical evidence for Jesus, and He claimed to be God - the resurrection and miracles proved that.

In the time when the new testament was written people never argued about the fact that Jesus lived, performed miracles and healing, and rose from the dead and was taken up in heaven (over 500 witnesses).

As you shine with the yellow light, the moment you say you reject any evil, any manipulation, any trespass, any coercion, you'll feel your yellow light fuse with the universe of the yellow Light of God and you'll feel you belong with Humanity. But you must put an end to any evil, false, manipulative, trespassing, coercitive behaviour: you must let go of any evil and shine with the light of perfection, only then will God guide you and elighten you as to making the best decisions in your life, which will be harmonious with the best interest of Humanity and animals. You must let the decision in the hands of God and you must repent from all your trespasses and undertake a life of sanctity.

You should believe in God ONLY if you truly believe one exists. No one should force you.

You can believe what you want to believe, but you don't have to live like a refugee.

Most will come up with lame fear tactics and "oh, your soul will burn in hellfire for all eternity if you don't" line. Fact is, we are born of stars and expansion. Any belief in deities is fairly much fluff and hogwash. I say, bring on the horse feathers.
