    I wish I knew what you mean. Do you mean world politics-- wars and revolutions, or do you mean internal "politics"-- Diaghilev vs. Nijinsky, etc.? There's a wonderful DVD available (you can find it on Amazon) that will provide you with a history of the Ballets Russes.
