Free video editing software?

Does anybody know the video editor that came with windows? I had it before I think it came with my computer on windows xp, you could easily cut and edit video, its not movie maker it was something else. Its possible I did download it at some point and just forgot, id know the name if I heard it. Thanks.

Update:

I'm looking for a program that I can actually edit a particular video, cut and paste, cut up a particular video. and splice two videos together.

Update 2:

Joey - does it put a water mark or hinder you from doing anything during the trial?

Here are several good free ones, each HD capable, and NO watermark:

Google " free video editors for windows" and it'll direct you directly to somewhere that will let you download one.

    Or

I don't buy editors, I usually download a Sony Vegas trial, its much better than anything free and its very simple to use and there's about 10 different ones, the trials last a month and you can do everything on them. Here's the one im using at the minute, I highly recommend you try this.

    Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.0

Much better than anything free and is super easy to use.
