Is the Almay clear complexion concealer and treatment gel supposed to smell bad?

I just got a Almay clear complexion concealer and treatment gel in the color light. I got it from target on sale for about 3 bucks and it is originally like $13. Idk why it is on sale but i got home, opened it up and noticed the concealer stick part smells REALLY bad. I have no idea why- just want to know if anybody else has this problem and if it is safe to use. Im worried it was expired or something and thats why target had it on sale. somebody help please! thanks!

    I have no idea, I don't use those products.

    Concealer and treatment gels (can affect the nerve), don't really work!
