What is the diffeence between a c drive and an I drive ?

A c drive is connected to a local area network server where everyone has acess to by a log in

And the I drive is connected through the the network and everyone has acess to it at the school

So whats the diffrence?

    really it depends on the network setup, but typically, the C: drive is the one that has the operating system (e.g., Windows) and programs on it, and all the other ones are assignable.

    the lettering is just to distinguish the drives from each other, and the only reason one would need a password for the C: drive, is because it has sensitive system files on it that hackers could have phun with...

    The C: drive is the internal hard drive of the computer, the I: drive is a networked drive that is on a different computer (like a server). It could also be given a name other than I: depending on who set up the configuration.
