I'm not sure where in you France you live, but there are definitely good waves there. Biarritz in the south has good waves for beginners. Lacanau has good waves, but maybe not for beginners. I would beg your parents to take a trip there.

If you want to go to Stanford, the closest waves I think are in San Francisco, and down south in Santa Cruz. The water's pretty cold, and you have to drive a little bit. It's not that easy to go surfing there and take classes at Stanford. Stanford is a pretty demanding academic school, so it's not like you can chill at the beach the whole time. There are schools in California which are better for surfers, but they are smaller and don't have the type of reputation for academics that Stanford does. They are mainly in San Diego, down south. But maybe you could try UCLA. Also, there is Pepperdine University, which is a very good school in Malibu, right by the beach. That's also where all the Hollywood celebrities live.

As for the boy in Australia, you might not even like him in four years. People change. If you guys have a deep connection and live far away from each other now, you could still have that deep connection if you're in California, right? You can still visit him in Australia for a few weeks, then return to California for school.

Don't assume you're getting into Stanford. Currently colleges in California are overflowing with students because students are staying longer to get a higher degree. Why don't you just ask the guy what he thinks? That way he won't get upset about it.

    Good luck

velocity won't be a huge difficulty if all you will do is locate workplace based courses. The workplace courses at the instant are not taxing to maximum computers this is composed of netbooks. the great difficulty is the working gadget on your netbook. in the experience that your college makes use of microsoft workplace courses surely purchase the residing house windows xp netbook. That way you're able to have the flexibility to place in microsoft workplace 2007 onto the netbook and do your college artwork. the great project I even have heard approximately with netbooks is they don't enable video web pages like youtube to run properly they lag and are very sluggish to coach the video in the event that they even can. additionally, verify along with your college e book save before you purchase your reproduction of workplace they have been merchandising workplace 2007 finished for under you're able to desire to purchase it at perfect purchase for merely the student/instructor variations.
