How can 4-H increase awareness in the community on agriculture?

If you are active in the 4-H agricultural projects, such as showing at the fair you are given a great opportunity to educate the public. Talk to the people, show through your actions and in the name of 4-H that you are fore-sighted and treating the land well. That you tend your livestock with care and humanity. always put your best face forward when you are out in public. Most importantly talk to the people; hand out little cards with agricultural facts. Answer their questions to the best of your ability or find someone with more experience to answer them. Let them touch your animals. Show them pictures of your home farm. Sometime farmers are believed to be worse than monsters. Educate, educate, educate. Learn all you can through 4-h program than share this information with the public.
