Postpartum check up after CSection?
What happens at ur postpartum check up If you had a CSection. Was any of it painful. Will I get on birth control at this appointment?

When I went the nurse asked for a urine sample, checked my weight, blood pressure, heart rate and asked if I had any concerns, any pain and whether I was still bleeding or not. When the doc came on he asked the same questions, then examined the incision area and did a breast check since I was breastfeeding and then we talked about birth control and I got a script for it. I went on the mini pill so I got the script and was able to fill it that day.

For me, I was examined by having the doctor put her fingers inside me and poke at my stomach. She looked at my stitches, went over how healing was going, and put me on birth control. It was NOT painful after having the c-section LOL (I keep thinking of when the nurses had to come in to push on my stomach). You will be just fine.
