a new member joined a restricted group without moderation, HOw?

A new member joined the LVSBE group without being moderated despite the fact that membership is restricted. Fortunately he was a member I invited and he works for me, the moderator. Will others be allowed to join without moderation?

    Hi billcroghan,

If you sent the person in question an invitation via the Invite feature, please note that invitations act as pre-approved memberships. Once the potential member receives an invitation to join the group, and they follow the link provided in the invitation to join the group, they will not end up in the pending members section.

On the other hand, those that request to join your group via your group's Home page, will appear as "Pending members," and will not be able to join the group until a moderator has approved their request.

I hope this info helps! Please let us know either way!
