Update:

No it's not that simple. Your friend may have gotten lucky, but usually there is a bill when you go to the hospital.

Especially if they give you pain meds.

And as someone else mentioned, they will not give you pain meds for chronic pain only for an injury for relief while you heal, if they know you always have the pain they know you don't need the meds and it won't last so the pain will still continue as soon as the pills are gone.

The pain pills they'll prescribe are a highly addictive controlled substance, so if it was that easy everyone would go to the er and say something hurt, then they would get pain pills and get high. So usually docs are very conservative with this, most likely you won't get them, if you do expect a hospital bill, I have never known someone to go to the hospital and not have to pay unless it was life threatening like a homeless person was dying.

You can go if you think it's an emergency, but otherwise go to your regular physician.

A trip to the er without insurance will be expensive just like going to the doctor would be.

except the er will not really help you in the long run. Yes the could possibly give you pain meds for a few days if they find anything (though they might not, some people just go to get pain meds) but they will give you no long term treatments that would diagnose and treat it

honestly if this has been going on for a while they probably wouldn't even give you anything, they usually do that for injuries, but they know pain meds aren't going to help chronic pain since it will just come back. and since you've been dealing with it without the strong meds they'll think you won't need it

So if you're going to pay you're better off just going to a regular doctor or even a chiropractor so you can get it taken care of

If you're having unhealthy cramps that is not going to go away then sure, that coupled with the Diarrhea with bloody stools should have you ever returning ASAP. You would have an Ovarian Cyst, i am amazed that your final discuss with to the ER didn't reveal what the concern was? Failed to they scan you via MRI or CT scan? Did the Doc now not discover the challenge? Did you might have bloody stools whilst you first went into the ER? And the way ordinarily are you having the Diarrhea? Diarrhea is critical in itself however not a symptom of Ovarian Cyst. It sounds extra to me like food Poisoning. Are you additionally nauseated or have you vomited? Do you have a fever? Hope you feel better quickly!

You might just have a tight muscle somewhere in your back. If its in one place that might be the case. If it is then try using a heating pad it will loosen the tight muscle. It is is more than one spot or your whole back, then go to a chiropractor or get a massage. Or it could be the way u have slept. If I'm wrong with any of those, I'm sorry and u will have to think of something else or ur out of luck. Sorry again if I'm wrong and that was rude:(

Go to the ER, they will not turn you away. But, then you will have to see a physician.
