If you go to the ER for a Pain only complaint they will not do much for you. You may be given something for Pain but its more likely you will be given Muscle Relaxers to help your back, as they help more in the long run of the injury.
Please be aware that you will have a very large hospital bill for this. You will be responsible for paying this bill and covering your prescriptions.
Its much better to go to a Minute Clinic and let them give you something for the tense muscles. You will get in and out for around $50-70
