Why am I not really too drunk after ten beers?

I just got back after a kegger and a trip to the bar and I'm not all too drunk. I only drink every two weekends, but this is messed, I'm usually spinning right now

Update:

I'm like 139, I don't understand how I was not drunk. Wasted too much money expecting to get fubar, but nope, only got somewhat drunk off the beer.

One reason for not being too drunk is your high tolerance to alcohol. Be careful because after ten beers you must be drunk and not thinking you are might make you want another and then before you know it you had too many and wake up in the ER.

Also consider the beer may be much lower in alcohol content then the beer you normally drink.

i remember when i was 16-18 yrs old it used to take me 5 beers(2.5l) to get drunk for the entire evening.then it was 6,then 7.now if i want to get really drunk i cant really do it with beer, need to go for vodka or something. as you get older you body weight and overall toloerance increases, thats just the way it goes. when you drink beer you dont take alot of alcohol compared to the amount of fluid you drink,so it absorbs and reaches your brain slowly
