Ways to go into labor naturally?
I'm scheduled to be induced on Monday but I want to go into labor naturally. I've walked and walked and have had sex. I'm 40 weeks and 3 days. I really want to have an all natural birth but can't do that with being induced. Any tips? I'm 1/2 cm and 50% effaced and baby's head is down

Have sex and have your husband rub your feet there is pressure points behind your ankle. (On Both sides of the small bone)

Why are you being induced? Induction is a medical intervention, which is not likely medically necessary if they are scheduling it days in advance. You can say no to being induced. You can not make labor happen, because the baby is in charge of that. It is one of the reasons that inductions lead to a MUCH higher percentage of c-sections. You are trying to force the body into doing something it wasn't quite ready for. Take care of yourself, get your rest, and be patient. Baby will come exactly when ready, and not a moment before. And if there is no immediate medical distress, say no to the induction. Normal term is 38-42 weeks, and the due date is an estimate, not a deadline.
