39 weeks pregnant with no signs of labor?

I haven't had any contractions no Braxton hicks no nothing. I'm 39 weeks had my cervix checked at 38 weeks and I wasn't dilated but I was softening. I no dilation doesn't really mean anything. Does this mean they got my due date wrong? I want to go into labor instead of being induced. Does the "walk the baby out" thing work? Or am I just being impatient?

When you go to your next appointment they may ask you if you want to be induced, say 'no' and be firm, DON'T LET THEM.

Try having sex to help softening your cervix. The softer your cervix, the faster you'll dilate. Walking will use gravity to bring the baby down. It may or may not work.

You are being impatient, but it's normal and to be expected. Just don't let your patience get your better judgment.

    Good Luck and Congrats!

Nothing to worry about at all. The fact that you are thining is great. Things are starting tn happen then. You still have 3weeks to go until they will think about induction so try not to stress and enjoy your last wee while being able to put your feet up! :)
