37 weeks and 4 days with no signs of labor?

Question

is this normal to be this far along and not have any signs of labor. no braxton hicks not dialated or anything like that. sometimes i dont even feel pregnant besides having a hard time getting up and down. i know i still have 3 weeks to go but shouldnt there be some sort of labor signs.

i guess im just to excited about my little one on the way. Everyone who was due around me has already had there precious child

I was 39 weeks 5 days with no signs of labor whatsoever...I had even complained to my husband and my dad about how I would probably have to be induced because NOTHING was happening...contractions hit me like a train in the middle of the night and my daughter was born only 6 1/2 hours later.

Well, sure and no. Diahreaha generally is a signal of work nevertheless it might be anything else too. I had diahreaha for the beyond 2 weeks and I'm honestly 2 days past due in these days. So it is ordinarilly 50-50. Good success to you regardless that!

Why should you be in or near labor? You could still go another 4 weeks. 

Dilation and effacement have not indication of when labor is near. You can go from zero to ten in a matter of hours.

Be patient.
