Or is she really writing these songs herself?  She is immensely talented, I know, but her songcraft seems beyond her years.  A song like Ronan, for example, beyond being hauntingly beautiful, is just impeccably crafted.  Did she have help?  Are ghostwriters prevalent in the music industry?

She writes the songs herself. She has help (co-writers) on some occasions.

Ronan was a song that she wrote after reading his mum's blog. She basically took things that Maya (Ronan's mum) wrote and arranged them to make a song. Maya has been acknowledged as a co-writer.

If you look at the credits, she has a few co-writers. I'm sure she is a very gifted writer, but uses others sometimes.
