Are there organizations that help with vet bills for abandoned cats?

I've been caring for the sweetest pussycat called Twinkie For 2 years since her owner moved out & abandoned her. He lied to me & said he would be back for his two cats. I took care of both for a couple of months but I could only keep one because they were enemies. How can pet owners be so selfish?

I've come to love Twinkie. Unfortunately she needed surgery to have a huge tumor removed. I couldn't see her suffer & agreed to the operation. She's recovering well I'm happy to say!!

I needed to pay the vet bill of $920.00 that included vaccinations. This is a lot of money that is a strain on me. There may be further vet bills because the tumor was fibrosarcoma.

Does anyone know if there are any organizations that give financial help with vet bills in cases like this in the Region of Waterloo in Ontario Canada? Thank you for reading.

Do a web search for free pet clinics in your area. Or call a vet or humane society or animal shelter and ask them, they would know...

    Stop e begging

You shouldn't have had the cat operated on if you couldn't afford the vet bill. You should have surrendered it or had it put down.
