3yr old always wakes up crying.?
Every time my 3 year old daughter wakes up, she wakes up howling. It doesn't matter what time of the day, or how long or little she has slept, without fail, when she wakes up, she's crying. She has been doing it for about 4 months. Before this, there were no changes to her daily life or routine whatsoever. There has been absoloutley nothing different. I can't seem to figure out why she would wake up crying. Any suggestions or advice?

My 4 yer old sister used to do this as well. In the morning especially what we would do for her is put a sippy cup of water in her room the before she goes down and tell her to drink it when she wakes up. Or try this:: before she goes down tell her that when she wakes that " you bet she can't get you" when she wakes up and say "especially don't tickle me!" then she will try to get you in the morning.

My 21 month old has begun doing this. The doctor said that it's nothing but a phase. So my only advice: Cuddle her when she's crying and remember that This, Too, Shall Pass.
