Best at home hair dye?

You should go to a beauty store (Sallys for an example) and ask one of the lady's that work there. They'll give you the best opinion and their dyes are better for your hair. Most salons order their hair dye from Sallys or which ever local beauty store is in their area.

I really like Garnier. I've tried other brands, but they don't last as long, or have the great color results I get from Garnier.

Okker would really suite you in our opinion. It looks really pretty and also it has a style that's really noticeable. You'd look good with this.

I prefer brunette over blondes and it doesn't matter to myself if the hair is curly or even not

Loreal preference have some really nice shades i like them all :)
