What is your favorite moment(s) of London 2012?

My favorites are:

1. Michael Phelps ending his swimming carrer with 22 medals to become the most decorated olympian of all, surpassing the record held by former Soviet gymnayst Larissa Latynina.

2. The U.S. women's soccer team defeats Japan for the gold medal, because for redemption for that World Cup loss.

3. Oscar Pistorius becoming the first ever double amputee to compete in London 2012.

4. Usain Bolt winning the 100m, 200m and the 4x400m relay to become the best sprinter ever.

5. The Fab Five (Fierce Five) consisting of Jordan Wieber, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross winning the team gold medal. The first gold medal since the Magnificent Seven at Atlanta 1996.

.......the indescribable consistency of Michael Phelps, the (almost) perfection of Misty May and Kerri Walsh (the whole ALL USA FINAL in itself was exciting), the energy and explosiveness of the USA men's AND women's basketball team, the fantastic welcoming of Missy, and the team final!!!!!

(oh, and Kayla Harrison winning the FIRST EVER ( I think) judo gold medal for team USA...

And the STUNNING UPSET of David Boudia in the 10m platform was sooo inspiring to watch!
