Stem Cells Brains or bacon?
Farm animal embryonic stem cells, differentiate quickly into specialized cells. Veered toward a neutral linage - brains instead of bacon. Why is this?

Stem cells originate from one of the three primary cell types established in the embryo. Brain cells originate in the ectoderm, which also forms the skin. Bacon would be muscle cells and they originate in the mesoderm. Stem cells differentiate according to the cells around them. Ectoderm stem cells form skin if they are surrounded by skin cells.
