Can you help me with my jade plant?

If the fuzz doesn't move it sounds to me like a white fungus. Yes, read all the good advice about keeping your jade out of direct sunlight and giving it little water. Read a little about succulents so you understand the nature of a jade a little better. My sister has always had the most beautiful jades around and she grows them to be HUGE! strong and thick. I've watched her on many occasions sit down with a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and q-tips and she's cleaned all the white fuzz on the stems or leaves off of her plant by hand. Takes awhile but the plants needs you to do this right away. The fuzz is blocking the plant from getting enough carbon dioxide so the fauxroots are growing in odd places to try to get the gasses it can't get otherwise. Give the plant the right growing conditions, keep any gnawing animals away from it, clean off the fungus and your plant may have a chance. Also, it personally drives me nuts the way jade growers will NOT support the heavy limbs that grow out throwing the poor plant off balance and at times bringing the plant and soil clean out of the pot! But, I am told, jades love their dry freedom and those who grow them respectfully, do not support those long, thick, dangly limbs. Shrug. Good luck my friend.

Too much water. It needs to be watered when the soil is dry.

That can be mildew or mealy bugs. The bugs will move when disturbed. First choice is mildew.

It needs some sun.

The pot needs to drain real good.

Jades are succulents and like to be in semi-shade, they also don't require that much water. Only water when the soil is bone dry to the touch, if there is any moisture in the soil, no water.
