how can I translate my name?
I KNOW that names can not be translated into another language. I KNOW I will always be called my name where ever I go and in every language. However, for FUN, I want to translate my name into as many different languages as I can - just for fun and use them to sign my email, etc. So I would like to know if anyone knows of a good website that will allow me to see my name written in a foreign language and be able to copy and paste it from that website - for example: scottish gaelic, korean, africaans, russian, etc. just to name a few. What I mean is this: if I happen to write an email to a friend and we are discussing Russia for example, then I want to sign my name in Russian script using the Russian alphabet.So I would like a website that will translate my name into a specific language, but I don't want to download anything. If possible, I would like the website to do it for me. And if the website has more than a couple of different languages that would be helpful. I have already found how to translate my name into Japanese letters, but I hope that I am explaining what I want to do and hoping that someone has some good ideas on where to find the website than can do this. I have already searched but didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I use Google Translate often, but it does not work for my name. It just types my name as is, so that is not going to work. thnx anyway

What you need to search for online is a "romanization to ___________ generator" "latin to ___________ generator"
or
"transliteration" tools, apps, generators
It helps if you know the name of the alphabet, i.e. Cyrillic for Russian. If not, just use words like "Russian" to fill in the blanks while you search.
Google Translate sometimes gets transliterations right, but sometimes it is just a fail where it can't even give an output in the alphabet you're aiming for. It does have a speech function though, so if another app turns it into the alphabet you want and you paste that into Translate and manually identify the language it's in (or confirm the automated identificiation of the language) you can then press the audio button to hear it. Not all languages have human readers, though. Some have computers.

Martina is "translated" as 馬蒂娜. Because it is a foreign name, the translation usually goes this way: each character represents a syllable. So: 馬 => Ma 蒂 => Ti 娜 => Na Notice that the "r" is omitted because it is difficult for Chinese to pronounce. Real Chinese names can be composed of 2 characters, 3 characters or 4 characters. The first character is the surname, and the remaining characters made up the given name. Usually each character has a special meaning. However, in foreign names (except Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese names) each character only represents a syllable. By the way, translators usually translate foreign names such as place names or people names using the Mandarin pronunciation.

I would just stick to google translate. I know it's not great and wrong most of the time, but since you're just translating your name, it'll be fine. Unless you have a really strange or uncommon name, it might not work. But generally, I just use that and it's correct for my name :)
