picking answers here?

I notice that some well thought out answers from people who know are ignored. I answer specifically to a case because I used to work these cases and have decades of experience. I notice the questioner picks the person who knows nothing, has no opinion, and just puts in links. to to wrong answer. Then there are the winners that have nothing to do with the question. Ex: Trevor is a retard.

Are there mainly teenagers here and trollers, or do the questioners really have no idea who is telling the truth and cannot figure it out?

AMEN. I AGREE WITH YOU. You know, sometimes I believe that people are too lazy to read well-thought out answers. And you know what? It pisses me off so much. Once, under one question, I wrote out the entire subjects history, pros, cons, examples,.. and I was so proud of the answer... What happens? BAM! Some chick gets Best Answer through pretty much summarizing my whole answer and not answering the question really right. I cannot describe how frustrated I was. I honestly feel sorry for the people that take the time and effort into thoroughly answering someone's question and actually wanting to help. The ones that question are either too lazy to read, looking for a specific kind of answer that they are begging with their ego to hear, or just serious mofos that are pretty much telling someone to eff themselves when they offered help. To summarize in two words: today's society.

I think most people are more concerned with points than clear, honest, accurate information. Some ppl only answer Q's w/a dot, what is that? Others just want to bully or preach. I struggle with choosing between the good answers.

I know it happens... not all the time. I dont answer for the points. I answer because I found the question interesting or really felt that I had something to add. If I get points then GREAT. If not, especially when i was looking for 'best answer'... I never get them.

I do it for fun. :)
