What is the thing that brighten the night, darken the day?
If possible, can you explain why?
p.s: My friend ask me this riddle and I don't know the answer.

It is indeed the moon: it brightens the night, and sometimes it will darken the day by eclipsing the sun.

For the heck of being different, I'll just say buildings in the cities because they cast shadows that darken the day and at night, the lights in them are kept on (for security reasons, from what I've heard) which brightens the night.

The moon. It gives light at night and may eclipse the sun during the day to create a false night. This was an interesting riddle.

ANSWER IS MOON because its the only light that brightens the night & darken the day is NEW MOON its a moon phase so its just MOON
