If I made my income tax check payable to the wrong name, do I redo it?

On this years taxes, I made it payable to the IRS, but apparently that's wrong. It should be to the us treasury. So am I in trouble?

I'd guess they get many thousands of checks made out to IRS, and are able to cash them. I wouldn't worry about it.

Put IRS - Internal Revenue Service.

The correct entity is United States Treasury, but they can cash it.
