wet iPod, will it work again, if dried?

Question

the bath was full and the iPod was sitting on a towel near by, the towel got pulled, and the iPod fell into the tub, i saw the screen was on for about 3 seconds before it went blank, and was wondering it it is never going to work again, or if i could just place it near a heat vent for a couple days to dry it out?

Let it dry and hope for the best. That's the only thing what you can do.

Ohhh it doesn't sound good I'm afraid, the fact that the iPod went completely in water and the screen went out doesn't look good.
You could try placing it in a bag of rice in a ziplock bag to let the rice draw any moisture out of it but I wouldn't count on it.
