Can I become a Geography teacher in Ontario, Canada?

Can I become a high school teacher in Ontario, Canada if I complete the Human Geography program at University of Toronto? After that, can I apply to teachers college?

    Yes, if you get your bachelor's degree in geography and then go to teacher's college, you will be qualified to become a teacher. That being said, the demand for teachers, especially in non-science/maths fields, is low at the moment and it might take you a while to get into a regular/permanent position, so you will likely have to start out as a substitute teacher.

    To go to university to become a teacher, you need to take the University Prep (U) or University/College (M) courses in grades eleven and twelve. As you NEED to take 12U English to get into university, you need to take 11U and grade ten academic English. And to get into university in Ontario, you need six U or M level courses
