In Canada, (NB) what is the going rate to pay a live-in caregiver to an elderly or disabled person?
I would like to find someone to care for and live with my mother who has Huntington's Disease. All their food would be included as well as hydro, etc. of course. Before I place an ad I'd like to know what to offer and what ammount of time per month would be expected to be their own free time off.

I'm not in New Brunswick, but I would think if it's a rural area, you could probably get someone for about $40.00 - $50.00 a day.
One full day off per week and whenever there is an appointment or whatever.
